Semantic Background

This repository contains tidy versions of Semantic Web ontologies and vocabularies frequently used by members of KurrawongAI.

We keep copies of them all here, so they are in one pace, and we tidy up labels etc., without altering any ontological content.

We maintain the currency of these artifacts as best we can so this is a one-stop-shop for most of our daily Semantic Web reference object needs!

Prefix Lookups

The prefix to namespace mappings of the source ontologies and vocabularies in this repository are generated on push to the main branch and then published to GitHub Pages.

A few examples:

• skos - https://kurrawong.github.io/semantic-background/ns/skos.file.json
• sdo - https://kurrawong.github.io/semantic-background/ns/sdo.file.json
• schema - https://kurrawong.github.io/semantic-background/ns/schema.file.json

The "API" is essentially a mapping to the path /ns/{prefix}.file.json.
